Two C's
Is it possible to be too compassionate? Is it possible that compassion is counterpoint to competition, that if we're compassionate it precludes us from being healthily competitive?....
possible for whom and why WR? when does the balance tip? Is it because in being compassionate we sacrifice the desire to achieve? I don't think the two have to be incompatible.
R, I don't think humanity is in danger of losing it's competitiveness but I find it interesting when I hear comments about how countries should be less compassionate because it hinders the ability to be globally competitive..and the same applies apparently on the individual level as well.
No longer late twenties (dirty thirties have arrived)Canadian in Israel loving the diversity of the middle east and determined to spite it all and make that small differance while hoping and working feverishly for change and peace all at once.

its very possible...
Yes but we never seem to reach that level of compassion. I'm speaking as humanity as a whole. We have too much in the opposite direction.
