the daily post...
As part of the agreement for sponsoring our flights to Haiti, I'm going to be responsible for some daily reporting of the situation on the ground and our work there. It needs to be readable by my work colleagues, so I'll probably set up another blog and will post a link here so anyone who reads my meandering thoughts and periodic fits of lovelorn anxiety can follow me in professional mode on the Haiti blog. thanks. lots of good people are out there making a huge difference. there was an awesome article in the herald tribune about the israeli's, lebanese, and pakistanis working together in disaster relief over in Haiti. beautiful stuff.
That is beautiful. Early in the rescue Israel was mentioned often because their rescue team was pulling out lots of survivors. I was glad to see they were there. And this working together, makes you see how much more powerful that is compared to war.
in practicality we all know this...it's only really the extreme left and right that are constantly at odds over how to relate.
And these guys call the shots unfortunately.
